I'll Go Mine

The Sons of Liberty!

Yeah OK so I'm back - I'm back because I had to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACY!

And I need to recommend the book Johnny Tremain. What a great read. Highly recommended.

A Few Days Off

Hey kids, I think I'm going to take a few days off from the blog. It's doesn't look like much, but it's a lot of work.

I'll probably still be adding to the Flickr photos though, so at least something should be new every day.

Enjoy the rest of the holidays!

A Guy's Perfect Gift

Everyone else has probably already seen this, but I just saw it and thought it was hilarious.

I'm sure it's what every guy wishes his partner wanted.

Christmastime Is Here

Missed your favorite holiday special? It's probably on this site.

And here's a page on A Charlie Brown Christmas - it has the songs and some sound files.

Man, this is one time YouTube has let me down - I couldn't find a video of the kids dancing to Linus & Lucy from A Charlie Brown Christmas. I found other people playing it, and homemade videos to the song, but not the original from the show. Ah well.

Where I Live

So if you go to this pic, scroll up to the top right, and see where that antenna thing is covering the land? That's where I live! That's NZ, and that's Wellington and the Hutt Valley right around the antenna thing. Can you see me?

Check out the whole picture too, it's pretty f*&^ing amazing.

Swedish Christmas Goat

I found out about this Swedish Christmas Goat through Lots of Co. and just thought it was kind of cool (and I loved the last paragraph of the article). Plus, you can check on it through a couple of webcams.

Also like a week late, Adios Peter Boyle. He seemed like a pretty cool dude.

Happiness Is A Warm Gun

So I read this headline and said to myself "Texas". And I was right.

I told my work I didn't want to participate in their $2.00 Secret Santa, and the Secret Santa gods said right, you're still going to have to spend money at this time of year, and they blocked up the radiator in my car. On a long trip I might add. And so now I have spent waaaay more than $2.00 to get that fixed.

But I still say no to Secret Santa. NO!

Omigod Omigod the Sweeney Todd movie keeps looking better and better!

The CENTURY Project - beautiful women

Rudy Rucker has been in NZ and blogged about it - his pictures are really nice, so check them out.

At 17

The only time I usually give money to the buskers in the train station is when they are playing one of my favorite songs, so I had to give it up yesterday to the middle aged guy playing "At 17".

And here's Janis herself singing "At 17". Enjoy!

Jane Austen...

...really knew how to write sexy men, didn't she? The book or the movie, they are all hotties.

Who's your favorite Jane Austen "bit of all right?"
