Well, I wore my Halloween earrings to work and bought some candy and will put my little pumpkin out tonight - don't know if anyone will show up, but you've got to prepare. Just not very big over here.
So what is everyone else doing for the holiday? Costumes?
UPDATE: I just found a new Brave Combo Halloween song. Must be twisted to in costume.

At the store today I saw a juice called Mango & Calamansi. I had no idea what calamansi was, but I bought the juice anyway. Here is the juice company's explanation for it, but another page calls it a Phillipine lemon. I tried the juice, and couldn't really taste anything different, which was very disappointing. I was really looking forward to a party in my mouth. Ah well. I'm sure the beverage fabrication people will come up with the ultimate beverage one day.

Well, it is Labour Day here today, end of a three day weekend, and we did not sit around like blobs as per usual (me more than Simon), we got out and bought some gardening stuff, Simon got the lawn mowed (it was almost as high as the dog) and today I raked all the grass clippings up from the front yard, and swept up the drive. Simon could not believe I actually got some work done. I also repotted three plants that are not doing very well - they were given to me in some bad pots, no drainage, so hopefully they will feel better now. The weather was supposed to be crap but actually turned out very nice, I got a little sun, and am feeling pretty good right now. Kath & Kim and Jackass are on tonight - it's a good end to a great weekend.

Well, here are the new digs - hopefully a lot cleaner and easier to read. Should be able to leave comments again, that makes me very happy. This is on our server, so if you can't see the page, the electricity is probably out at our house, or something like that. If it's out for more than a day, maybe you better try to call us.
If you haven't seen American Splendor yet, see it this week. I think it has the best movie line ever. Try to guess what it is. And look, here is Harvey's own web site. I think I'm going to have to get a hold of those comics.
