So I cannot wait for this eReader technology to really take off - which for me means get way affordable. It will be interesting to see how fast or slow it happens, and how libraries and bookstores deal with this technology. For me, the older I get, the most important thing is for me to be able to get the book I want, when I want it. And as a veteran of trying to read on crowded trains, I can really see the appeal of having a small flat lightweight screen to read from and carry around. I say bring it on!

It took me forever today to count out the money to by my TV Guide. Sheesh!
Aw man, I can't believe it. I just want to express my condolences to Terri, Bindi and Bob, and to Steve's friends and family.
I liked Steve Irwin, because he had a real passion for his work and for the natural world, and was able to convey that passion to others. Very few of us get that chance, and it was a real pleasure watching and learning from Steve.
And I'm so tired, I can only pass on a couple of links from Pharyngula:
I'm not signing the Wal-Mart Bible Letter because I think people should have access to the books they want to read - but I'm still putting the link up here for other people to read
