I went to a creative music and drumming workshop on the weekend, and I got some kudos on my cowbell playing. I was pretty excited.
And if you didn't know, a cowbell is very LOUD. I sure didn't.

Those puppies were found in Upper Hutt by the way - nice.
Why don't elevators just have "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons instead of those arrows pointing? Or the arrows should be clearer - I get confused and usually end up shutting doors on people. Anyone else?
My dog is driving me crazy tonight because she wants her treat but it is not time for her treat. She knows this but is still harassing me about it.

I know I have mentioned earlier how I like to get my fruit - in drink form.
I have now come up with a way to make vegetables or beans more palatable.
You puree them. That's right, cook them until they are a little soft, throw them in the food processor with some butter, sour cream, onions, garlic, seasonings (depending on what you are cooking), whizz away and presto - it's like vegetable dip! With beans you can just throw them from the can in there, add a few ingredients and whammy! Bean dip!
I have done this with brussels sprouts, peas, kidney beans and black beans. I want to try broccoli and cauliflower next.
Trust me, it's an easy meal that's good for you!

I think it was Tina who said she always pictured "knights" in white satin, and I always did too. Maybe I need to cough up for the satin sheets? But it's cold here now, and somehow flannel sheets and a comforter sound better. Ah well.

Ah, what a Monday - couldn't get to sleep last night, big pile o' work, overhead fault on the train line so Simon has to come pick me up, barely make it to bellydancing on time.
But then I did some rolls in my drum class, so I was happy. I hadn't ever done them before, so it was something new.

So hey, did you know you CAN pick bluebonnets? I always thought it was illegal, or I would have picked some every spring and put them in a vase - I think they are so pretty.
Oh, and here's something else I learned recently - I always thought "RSVP" meant "let me know you are coming" but it really means "let me know if you are coming or not." Oops. I apologize to anyone I did not RSVP - I just didn't know.
And I apologize for the lack of postings this week - I had an assignment due and work has been very busy - I'm just really tired. Hooray for the weekend!
