We we standing in the kitchen this morning right before 8:00 when the glasses in the cabinets started rattling, then the floor starting swaying around. I ran to the middle of the kitchen away from all the cupboards, but it stopped. I bent down to pat the dog and say it's OK, and Simon came over and patted both of us. He knows I get freaked out. The quake was centered close to where we live. Then there was an aftershock about 8:02, then another tonight. This weekend will be spent filling up containers with water and making sure some things are fastened down a little more securely.
Oh, and you know I have to comment about this - I mean, how sad. A positive message about getting along gets slammed by people who don't want to get along. THEY need to watch the video. Sheesh!

Is everyone OK? I haven't heard from anyone in a few days, except people in NZ. Just wondering.

Oh man, I got some bad news today - Supercross is not going to be shown in New Zealand! I'm devastated! Ricky, Chad, Kevin, Bubba - it was going to be a great season. I've sent an e-mail to Clear Channel to ask what gives - I'm pretty sure they have the broadcast rights.
I guess if anyone watches it can you give me a little summary of what happened? I can check the net, but it's not the same.

Another wet weekend - it rains, then the sun comes out, then it hammers down, then the sun comes out - our garage has flooded out, the stream in front of the house was up yesterday - it's all because we set our pool up - we might as well take it back down, the weather is not allowing for any swimming at all.
